Connect to shopping, social events, restaurants, medical appointments, hospitals, schools, jobs, and more within LIV&GO. Livonia Transit has two services: an origin-to-destination Demand Response service and a To Work service which allows SMART and D-DOT riders to connect from transit hubs to select Livonia bus stops. Our vehicles are wheelchair accessible and are operated by specially-trained drivers. Whether you want to run an errand, visit a friend, or need reliable transit to recurring events (work, appointments, etc.), this service will get you there! HOW IT WORKS: - Book a ride on your smart phone by setting your pickup and dropoff addresses. You may also call a booking agent to book your trip over the phone. - Select the preferred pickup window for when the vehicle will arrive. You’re expected to be ready at any time during that pickup window. You can opt to receive automated communications by call or text - for scheduled rides, we will send a ride reminder the day before. - We’ll give you an automated call or send you a text notification when we’re nearby. - When your driver arrives, please promptly board the vehicle. They will wait up to 3 minutes. - There may be others on board, and you may make a few additional stops along the way! You can track your ride and share your status in real time from the app. SHARING YOUR TRIP: Our algorithm matches people headed in the same direction. This means you’re getting the convenience of a private ride with the efficiency and reliability of a public one. AFFORDABLE. Rides are priced comparably to other transit services in your area. Your wallet will thank you! RELIABLE: Track your ride as the driver is on their way to you, and while you’re on the vehicle too. OUR VEHICLES: LIV&GO is wheelchair accessible! If you require a wheelchair, we will be sure to indicate this when creating your account. To edit this, simply toggle on “Wheelchair accessibility” in the “Account” tab of your app!
