Support for young carers
The ME-WE young carers´ mobile app offers support to young carers, in other words children and young people under 18 years who provide care, support or help to one or several family members, friends or other persons who has a disability, substance abuse, mental illness, chronic illness or other condition. The app has been developed within the European Union Horizon 2020 funded ME-WE project (grant number 754702) (https://me-we.eu/) and targets young carers and people who work with young carers. By downloading the app, you get access to: Gathered information on illnesses, young carers´ rights, help and support, peer tips, and what to do in emergencies News linked to young carers Stories of other young carers It is also possible to create an account, which gives you access to: A diary where you can write down your thoughts and upload pictures Material used during the ME-WE group sessions* *The ME-WE project has developed group sessions for young carers, both online and offline. If you participate in a ME-WE group in Sweden, Switzerland or Italy you have the opportunity to access additional material used during the group sessions and a chat where you can write to other young carers and group leaders who are part of ME-WE groups.
