Min Livlina builds your safety plan in consultation with your therapist.
My Lifeline Min Livlina is developed for those who have contact with psychiatry and who have made one or more suicide attempts - or for those who have suicidal thoughts and need support. The app gives you support for how you can draw up a safety plan together with a trained therapist in psychiatry. The safety plan includes a number of personalized coping strategies that can be helpful in preventing and managing a potential suicide crisis. It is the insights and strategies that you and your therapist arrive at that form the content of the safety plan. The app includes the following features: - Support to build your safety plan together with your therapist. You make the safety plan by identifying your warning signs, coping strategies and personal networks to keep you safe. - Quick access to SOS Alarm and options about where you can get support and help. - Possibility to keep a diary of your mood. - Possibility to insert reminders, for example about medicines and appointments. Evaluations show a reduced risk of suicide among those who used safety plans. The method was developed by Barbara Stanley and Gregory K Brown and the method has spread around the world. The Min Livlina app has been developed by the non-profit organization Suicide Zero and Region Kalmar. As a user of the app, you own your own login-protected account. No information about the app's user is logged or shared outside the user account. My Lifeline is intended as a self-help tool and not as a substitute for professional treatment. The app's central function The security plan is a copy of the physical individual security plan that is drawn up in dialogue between you and your processor. If you yourself feel unwell and have suicidal thoughts, it is important that you seek help.
