Kyrkoåret is an app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch that helps you keep track of the Church of Sweden's Sundays and holidays during the year. The Church Year always opens on the current holiday. The app also has a calendar where you can check out all the days of the church year. The Church Year app shows information about the holidays: the theme, the prayers of the day, current Bible texts, hymn suggestions from the hymnbook, what liturgical color it has and how to decorate the church with candles and flowers. For each holiday there is also a hymn verse from the hymnbook and an image that fits that particular day's theme. You can also receive notifications at the end of the holiday about the upcoming holiday. Kyrkoåret can function as a cheap and convenient replacement for the Diary and the Church Year services. It is suitable for church employees as well as elected officials, church attendants and regular church service participants.
