Ruta

Ruta is the official tool of the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation for controlling fuel dispensing at service stations. It is designed for authorized personnel—pump operators and inspectors—and allows for the transparent recording, verification, and auditing of each fuel transaction. With Ruta, every dispensing transaction is documented: who received the fuel, how many liters, at which station, when, and with supporting evidence. This helps ensure that subsidized fuel reaches its destination and combats fraud. MAIN FUNCTIONS • QR code scanning: instantly identifies the vehicle and its owner. • Location verification: confirms, using GPS and geofencing, that the dispensing physically occurs at the station. • Photo evidence: a photo of the vehicle is taken at the time of dispensing. • License plate verification: automatic reading of the license plate (on the device and in the cloud) to confirm that the photo corresponds to the vehicle. • Vehicle detection: prevents the registration of photos that are not of an actual vehicle. • Record of liters dispensed with anti-abuse controls (daily quota, time between refills, location). • Operator's dispensing history. WHO IS IT FOR? Surti is an internal application for authorized personnel of the Ministry and service stations. It is not a general-use app; it requires credentials assigned by the institution.
