Karvel Watch Face

Karvel is a Wear OS watch face — an analog chronograph dial built around one idea: the time should be readable at a glance, and everything else should get out of the way. No numerals. Instead, a precision index: a full 60-step minute track, double-baton hour markers, and accent dots on every hour. The 12 o'clock marker is longer and heavier than the rest, so you always find your bearings without looking twice. Six complication slots, positioned so they never crowd the hands. Three circular slots sit at the top, bottom and left, each combining a progress ring, a value and an icon. These accept ranged values, goal progress and weighted elements, as well as plain text and icons — battery, steps, heart rate, weather, activity goals, whatever your watch provides. Three more slots follow the curve of the bezel. The one along the top edge carries long text, which suits your next calendar event. Two sit at the bottom for a short readout each: world clock, sunrise and sunset, battery percentage, unread notifications. A framed date sits at 3 o'clock in one of two styles — day and date on their own, or digital time with the day and date beneath it. The hour marker there is deliberately shortened to give the date room to breathe. MAKE IT YOURS Eight independent colour controls: minute track, hour markers, complication text, accent, hands, second hand, hand accent, and the background glow. Each one draws from a 72-colour palette. Six ready-made colour presets are included if you would rather not start from scratch. Thirteen hour and minute hand styles and nine second hand styles, from slim batons to sword and dagger shapes. BUILT FOR ALWAYS-ON The always-on view is a considered design rather than a dimmed copy. The index expands outward and the background glow contracts as the face settles into ambient mode, with smooth eased transitions you can switch off if you prefer things still. There is optional extra dimming, and an option to hide the central complications in ambient to keep the display quiet overnight. A night mode, switched on by hand whenever you want it, shifts the entire face to deep red for dark-adapted vision. COMPANION APP An optional Android app makes installing the face easier and lets you follow the Time Flies catalogue if you want to see what else is there. The watch face works fully without it. Requires Wear OS 5.1 or later.
