The Ministry of Education has developed the "Taiwanese Input Method" mobile application to promote the preservation and daily use of the native language, combining digital technology. This application can be installed on smartphones and tablets, providing voice and Pinyin input functions to help users quickly communicate in Taiwanese, facilitating use for those unfamiliar with Taiwanese writing, and promoting the widespread use and learning of Taiwanese. Key Features: I. Output Modes * **Taiwanese Pinyin Input** * **Chinese Character Mode:** Outputs Taiwanese Chinese characters * **Taiwanese Pinyin Mode:** Outputs Taiwanese Pinyin * **English Mode:** Outputs English letters II. Voice Recognition * **Chinese Character Mode:** Directly converts speech to Taiwanese Chinese characters. * **Taiwanese Pinyin Mode:** Directly outputs Taiwanese Pinyin. III. Font and Display * **Built-in Taiwanese Chinese character fonts, supports missing character candidate display to avoid garbled characters. * **Provides a "Text-to-Image" function, converting the text in front of the cursor into an image to ensure correct display of Taiwanese Chinese characters in various environments. IV. Symbols and Auxiliary Symbols: "0" represents a universal tone "?" represents a universal Tai Luo Pinyin "*" represents more than one universal Tai Luo Pinyin Symbol Panel: Provides punctuation marks, emoticons, and commonly used text templates V. Keyboard Themes and Layouts Customizable keyboard theme colors Multiple keyboard layouts: Standard Tai Luo Layout (Default) Tutorial Query Layout (Initials and Finals listed separately, including two-component and three-component characters) VI.
