Learn to Skate

Skate UK is an introductory “Learn to Skate” course which teaches the basics of ice skating in an active, safe, encouraging and, most importantly, fun learning environment. You will learn the fundamental skills required to enjoy your skating experience and progress if you would like into a competent and safe skater! Skate UK is for everyone! Ice Skating is a sport for life, and we want everyone to experience the joy of ice skating. In fact British Ice Skating vision is "Skate for Gold, Skate for Fun, Skate for Life". You will be taking part in group lessons with other skater, learning how to ice skate. These sessions will be delivered by British Ice Skating’s qualified ice skating coaches who are trained to deliver a positive learning experience on the ice in an inclusive manner.
