The annual Labor and Employment Survey (abbreviated as the Labor and Employment Survey) is a sample survey within the national statistical survey program conducted with the aim of: collecting information on the labor market participation status of individuals aged 15 and over currently residing in Vietnam as a basis for compiling national statistical indicators on labor, employment, unemployment, and worker income. The survey results help the Government, the Prime Minister, and all levels and sectors to assess and forecast the fluctuations of the labor market nationwide, at the provincial and city levels, and to develop and formulate policies for human resource development and production and business plans consistent with labor market trends.
