This present Hymnbook is in Bantu YIRA, spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Uganda. It is commonly called KINANDE, KIYIRA, LUKONJO, KONJO, ... The hymns in this collection are much more widely used by members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The following Universal Declaration of Human Rights: French: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights, they are endowed with reason and conscience and must act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood." Would thus be translated into Kinande / Lukonjo: Kinande: "Abandu omububuthiranwa bakabuthawa ibanawithe obuthoki nobuholho obulingirirene, mobahangikwa ibanawithe amenge, neryo ibakathoka erighabania abathya ekibuya nekisandire Nokweryo buli muyima atholere eryanza munyikiwe ngababuthenwe."
